These three pieces were created for a performance at William Hazard's Theatre of the Flat Imagination, Volume Six: Permanent Volta, on March 23rd, 2024.

Each piece consists of seven loops. Each loop contains a melody line that incorporates one note from each chord, and the subsequent loops create melodies from the remaining notes in the chord (chord notes are replenished once depleted). After the seven loops are created, an intertwining melody is overlaid on top.

Each piece is recorded in a single take using a single synthesizer (Make Noise Strega), which is recorded live into loops using SuperCollider code. The visuals (on the cover) are also generated by the loops: the X+Y coordinates represent the amplitude and the stereo position of the sound. Each piece is a reaction to the random movements of the loops. more information and links to code: infinitedigits.co/music/imagination/
